This dress couldn’t have come into my life at a better time. I took entirely too long to wear/shoot it but the timing all worked out because I got to wear it to Art Basel. I decided to open my week with something I wouldn’t see anywhere else. I found myself wishing I could rewear it as the days/events went on. The colors and the amazing print made it an absolute knockout. When I put it on I instantly sang “Man…I feel like a woman“. Haha. Mayleen when shooting me marveled at the shape of it because “you can eat” in it. It’s quite forgiving while still being form fitting and sexy.
Gemma ring + Pleasure ring c/o Swarovski CND Shellac in Midnight Swim
If you’re really jonesing for my rings (why wouldn’t you be) you can find them on eBay. They’re sold out on Swarovski’s website but they can still be had. I’m sort of obsessed with the Pleasure ring right now. I wear it everyday as long as I’m wearing silver. When I wear gold I scowl that I don’t have a comparable ring in gold. The Gemma ring is a new favorite, received after a lovely dinner with some of the visiting Swarovski team. Do you love my nails? I’m smitten. So I’m late to the Shellac party…but if you too are late like me…you need to get on board. My nails still aren’t chipped. Yeah ok they’re growing a bit but not noticeably so. It’s been 6 days of me typing, packaging and shipping orders, unbraiding my hair (yeah that’s happening who wants to help :p), all the typical stuff that has me checking my manicure every spare moment like oh there it goes. I keep checking and it’s still intact. Thanks so much to the CND World team for inviting me to Elemis Spa to try this out and letting me bring a friend, that just sweetened the pot.

Wow! This dress is stunning! I’d love to find one like it 😀 That’s one of my New Year resolutions – to start wearing more dresses. I want to feel like a lady at all times. Get a manicure every week, test beauty products, wear dresses and fashionable clothes, keep my hair styled, etc. I’m excited for the upcoming year! 🙂
