I love an instant gratification type situation. Uber now has Uber gift cards! I can’t tell you how many people I’ve shared this with to the response of pure elation. It’s not something I ever thought of, but it’s basically Uber’s business model to evolve the way the world moves. For someone like me that depends on Uber almost every single day, this would be a thoughtful gift.

Teaming up with Uber to share this news I decided to gift a friend in a similar “no vehicle” situation. Uber makes the world around us so much more accessible. The cards are super easy to use, you just enter the gift code right into your app and boom credits. The gift cards don’t expire or have any additional hidden fees and you can use them all over the US. I picked mine up at CVS, but they’re also available at Target, Walmart and Best Buy. You can even get them online from Uber or Amazon.
I’m so thrilled that Uber has gift cards now. I’m giving the gift card to my good friend Angeles as a little mid-week treat over a fabulous lunch. She doesn’t have a car and depends on Uber to get around the city of Miami. From hospital visits, to work, to glamourous events Uber gives her the freedom to do things on her own time. Angeles has cancer but doesn’t let it stop her from living a full life, she’s the most positive person I know. It’s really important for her to stay connected with her friends her biggest support system while she lives here in Miami alone. Taking my friend to lunch is cool, because who doesn’t love a good taco. But it’s even cooler to gift her the ability to explore, stress free trips to work, to doctors appointments, to the airport for her jet-setting adventures etc. Where would you go with an Uber gift card?
