Black Friday madness! All day these items have been swirling about in my head and going in and out of my shopping carts. I’ve been really good. I’ve only bought two items out of these nine. Can you guess which ones? What have you guys been buying?
JBL Synchros S700 Headphones . Monki Mesh Shirt Dress . Lovers + Friends for Revolve Strappy Bra Crop Top . Filthy Magic Double Layered Skirt (similar) . Chanel Boy Bag . Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense in Satin Fuchsia
I’m super into headphones. I’m on a constant quest to find the perfect sound for my tunes. JBL invited me to the Gale South Beach to their Dare to Listen event. I braved the icky weather to try out the sound on these puppies. My favorite things about these are they deliver great sound (great bass), they look great (especially in white). So what makes these different from any other pair of headphones; enhanced by proprietary LiveStage™ signal processing they deliver more of a live music sound to the listener. You can turn this feature off and on.
Currently I’ve been using my Beats by Dr. Dre Mixr headphones pretty much exclusively since receiving them. So here’s a bit of comparison, they are nowhere near as loud as my Beats, which is my favorite thing about the Beats. The JBL’s are a lot more comfortable however…and I will be mixing them into rotation. The Beats suction to my ears but start to hurt after a while. It’s pretty annoying actually for something so pricy to be so uncomfortable. The JBL’s have a very luxe feel, the leather is supple against the ear and very pleasant. Since the Beats suction to my ears, they’re great for intense motion, the JBL’s shift a bit but I never had plans to use these for intense activity. The JBL’s are also Android compatible (
no one curr, iphone forever) and the Beats are made for idevices. These headphones also charge via USB cable instead of battery and continue to work even if not charged unlike some Beats out there that require batteries and cease to work when they are dead. Makes absolutely no sense to me.
This past week has been a whirlwind of travel. Traveling through various time zones has my concept of time and sleep all messed up. I visited Dubai this past weekend. My typical look consists of some kind of crop top and an above the knee something. I wanted to make sure I had clothing acceptable to the values of the melting pot of culture in Dubai for non hotel, restaurant, and club outings. That means, shoulders and knees covered.
I took a peek in over at Abercrombie & Fitch with this in mind and came out with the above ensemble and this Kaylin Jacket I didn’t get a chance to wear yet. Perfectly casual and comfortable with my heels adding a little dash of edge.
This is the week to prepare for Black Friday (and Cyber Monday), dun dun dun. Do you have a plan of attack? I’m working on mine today! Abercrombie will be having a pretty bangin’ shindig. You know the usual hot guys, cute styles and great deals. The deals kick off at 8 PM on Thursday, November 28th in stores and online. If you venture out to the store, send me some pics of the male models, please and thank you :p
