Thumbs Up For LuckyFabb
Yes Diane, this is how I feel about LuckyFabb. It was an amazing experience. This was my first and it most certainly won’t be my last. The guest speakers were phenomenal, connecting with my fellow bloggers was awesome, seeing the different approaches the brands took with their suites to connect with us bloggers was so interesting and fun to participate in. From FabLibs with Sorel to Marshall’s “price is right” game it was a truly unique experience for me. I can’t wait to go back for seconds.

Look at Diane telling us what’s what. Definitely took a lot away from her panel. She is definitely a wonderful role model for women of all ages. So happy to have heard her insightful advice and heard her story.
The Kardashians (mother & camera crew in tow) also spoke on a panel. I’ve never seen an episode of their show, their panel wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Coco Rocha & Rachel Roy are both amazingly beautiful women who are incredibly well spoken, not to mention successful.
It was such a treat to see Ellie Goulding perform since I’ve been listening to her for a few months now after a recommendation by a friend. I took a quick video of one song. “Wish I Stayed” one of my favorites. It’s noisy in the background though because apparently people are rude.

Art Basel Nighttime Fun
Highlights – obviously meeting Christian Louboutin, getting into N.E.R.D. + Paper Magazine concert without leaving anyone behind, taking silly pictures in the dressing room at Maison Martin Margiela store/event, the entire Fendi Casa event at Luxury Living, meeting Alberto Vignatelli, random people taking my picture and petting my Spirit Hood in the street, meeting the owner of Rumba Time Watches, Cafeina with Tara, atm failure that resulted in Carolina (who took some great photos here) talking her way out of us paying for parking at Cafeina. It’s not our fault the ATM is busted inside, I mean who carries cash around anymore. That’s probably the worst thing about going to Miami for me, I always want to valet but never carry cash on me. Thank god the meters accept credit cards otherwise I’d have to change my plastic carrying ways.

Ria does Maryland (Otakon)
I went to Maryland on August 8th, 2008 and I flew back to Orlando August 11th, 2008. Just a short trip to visit my friend Christine in Olney, MD and see a few bands from Japan. It was DaizyStripper, MarBell, & The Underneath and they were performing at Otakon in Baltimore. I ended up missing their concerts which totally blew me but I had such a great time with all of them during the two meet & greet’s that I’m not completely upset about it. They loved our outfits lol and so did everyone else, there are a ton of photos of Christine & me floating around.
We of course went shopping and partying. I’ll be posting about the things I bought soon. I’m exhausted though. Saturday night we went out and totally never slept. Sunday I didn’t get much sleep either. So I need to crash.
