By Ria  //  Sponsored, Videos  //  1 Comment

So I shared with you the bootcamp video of me working with a few girls from Bad Girls Club to find them a man now check out the offiical series. Find Me My Man premieres tonight at 9 PM eastern standard time! Here’s a few sneak peaks for ya:

Oxygen is giving the most challenged daters the skills they need to land their man in the dynamic new series “Find Me My Man.” When Miami’s most hard-to-match ladies have trouble finding the men of their dreams, they call on tough-love matchmaker Natalie Clarice. Known locally as the “Titan of Love,” Natalie runs the successful agency Heart & Soul International, which helps urban professional women overcome their dating faux pas in order to find their perfect match. In each episode Natalie and her team of romance strategists put two single ladies to the ultimate test using a variety of unconventional and unique techniques. Natalie is determined to crack Miami’s hardest cases and isn’t afraid to tell it like it is to her strong-willed clients, who are often their own worst enemies when it comes to dating. From a client who has a 15-minute countdown clock for her dates to impress her, to a pageant queen who wears her sash and tiara on first dates, these women have some outrageous quirks that are keeping them from finding love.

Boot Camp with Bad Girls

Oxygen-Find-Me-My-Man

A few weeks ago Oxygen network invited me to film a webisode to help a few of the ladies from Bad Girls Club with their fashion choices for dates. I was brought in as a fashion expert for Janae Bradford, Valentina Anyanwu, and Nancy Denise as they searched for a man during Oxygen’s Find Me My Man Bootcamp. It was a really interesting experience. Video always is. I was given a room full of clothing and shoes to completely rework the girls style for their dates. They needed a little bit lot of guidance on their path to finding a good man. Working with these girls was probably my most challenging (and a little scary) project yet. I like a challenge though. Definitely check out the video to see me go head to head with one of the girls.

Got a little video for ya’ll awwww snap. Scott Brasher visited Miami and we met up to shoot some photos. I was surprised nervous when he asked if I was interested in doing video because I wasn’t expecting it but I said I was down for it. I’m always looking for fun high quality content to add to the blog and I think this is a great addition that I’ll probably be adding to my about me page. I hope you enjoy it, I think it’s nice to see the outfit in motion and get a little 360 action.

I don’t wear flats on the blog very often but I’ve been wanting granny boots for awhile and when CAT emailed and offered to send me a pair I was ecstatic. These are perfect and comfortable…I could walk around for a bit in them…which I did have to when my car got towed later (my first time) when I decided to go home. Real tears ladies and (maybe) gentlemen. Anyway Lily bought me this harness for Christmas and I can’t wait to wear it sans crop top. It’s very (old) Janet Jackson music video. The shorts I picked up at Koko & Palenki (an ordeal I won’t get into) at Aventura Mall and I can’t seem to find my version online.

My hair (c/o) got a little “messed up” after a whole lot of nervous hair twirling, flipping, etc in front of the camera. I forget I don’t have braids anymore and I need to try and keep my part in check I can’t just flip all willy-nilly. To be honest I didn’t have time to do anything other than brush it and leave the house. These virgin indian hair extensions from Perfect Locks though are pretty amazing and even in their natural state I still manage to look put together. That’s why I like to get wavy hair. Thanks so much to Perfect Locks for sending me this hair to try. My stylist Jael Roumain did a great job installing the hair and giving it a full appearance with only 2 packs.

I was invited this week to The Arsht Center in Miami to check out the broadway hit Rock of Ages! They’re currently on a US tour and are in Miami until the 14th. I definitely urge you to go check this musical out. It was so much fun, a definite party. The story was engaging, you already know all the songs, the audience interaction was choice. Some of the voices were from another world basically, so powerful. I think it’s a really fun show for adults to check out. I went with my friend Erika and we basically couldn’t stop laughing at all the jokes. You absolutely will not be disappointed, unless you’re a grump haha.

I picked out my outfit last minute (and shot these photos running out the door) and I think it really worked out since I was dressed up but still sort of “rock” to fit the theme of the show. I’ve had this skirt sitting on my rack for awhile, I’ve only worn it once though I really like it. I picked it up from Ideeli last year around this time actually. It was about $54, the one I linked above that looks JUST like it, is only $26. Grr. What do you guys think of my braids, now that you can see them really clearly? I’m on my way to my Halloween dream.

Stay tuned for the my next Halloween change. ^^

Check out the trailer for the show and go go go!

BtS: Levi’s x Ria Michelle This Is Who I Am

I feel like I’m sort of being annoying with all this video content…but ya know this is what I’ve been doing. A few months ago I filmed a project with Fabsugar and Levi’s. If you watch the video on their site you can peek into my office space. It really made me think about blogging and everything that I do and how much it means to be. I really hope that you enjoy the video I think Gio my director and our whole team did an amazing job. It was my first time working with video like this and the experience couldn’t have been a better one. I learned so much and had lots of laughs. I hope that one day we can all work together again. We shot the shoot over 2 days or maybe 3…thinking 2. I want to give Holly Gowers my makeup artist and friend lots of thanks for doing my makeup on day 2. She is a boss at what she does and just moved to New York and is killing it!

We ended up on a boat of course! The gingham checkered red dress is perfection by the way, you need it in your closet. It seems sold out on the website but I know you can still find it in stores. Also…I need this coated jumper! Seems so perfect for fall. I’m gonna need to find it in store. Wah. I’m such an online shopper.
