What have I been doing recently? Oh you know giving interviews over coffee. Check it out! Hanging out on branded double decker buses with the team at Forever 21 and the gorgeous Shareen of Vintage Mavens. Eating copious amounts of Shake Shack. I was a bad influence with that one too creating myself a partner in crime from the F21 team. Don’t judge us! Celebrating the Grand Opening of the new Lincoln Road store on Miami Beach with fellow babes, Steffy & Amanda. Browsing the store with my giveaway winner and chatting about what looks best for different body types. Shooting a streetstyle….ya know bloggity blog stuff.

New Year Film Diary

You knew it was coming as soon as I got a Fuji Instax camera. An all film post. During our sparkler fest outside we snapped away so here are a few shots I like. I think I need to clean my scanner lol, my photos are a lot clearer than they appear here. This my first time in forever scanning a physical photo. Also I did this really quick before leaving for the salon. I’m currently sitting at the salon, thank god for wi-fi.

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to shoot with Alex Sierra. It was cool to shoot with a someone new but it can also make me really nervous. Haha, that’s why I’m laughing at myself/trying not to laugh at myself in a few of these shots. Also I got into a minor car accident after this shoot but it was no big. Someone rear ended me, but it was small so no damage. I had scary flashbacks to my last accident where my car was out of commission and I didn’t have a vehicle for like a year. No effin bueno.

Anyway onto the clothing which is why you’re here. Living Royal was awesome enough to send me that cool crop top which I’ve been wanting to shoot for awhile and I finally got to. I love the coral coloring and the unique shape. I found that skirt at Goodwill for oh I don’t know $5. I love circle skirts so it was a no brainer addition to my closet. The contrast stitching is pretty choice and I like that it has a button closure. It’s a little different. Picked up those Alexander Wang kicks on sale over at ShoeScribe. They’re sold out not but you can still snag them at Farfetch. They are all that and a bag of chips. WHO REMEMBERS THAT PHRASE?! I’m cracking myself up because I am easily amused. Back to Shoe Scribe…stalk their website it’s highly recommended. I missed out on a sick pair of shoes from Hoss Intropia. I was not up on my stalking game and did not heed the “last pair” email warning and I’m still not over the pain.

I’m missing out on going to the movies to write this blog post and catch up on emails so know that I love you because I really really want to see Taken 2, Cloud Atlas (though nobody wants to see this with me grr), The Man with the Iron Fists, Skyfall, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (which I’ll have to track down), and The Bourne Legacy so I’ve got to get in there because I’d prefer to see these things in the theater.

Cher & Dionne Take Miami

So I have to give Cher Lily and myself serious snaps for pulling our costumes togegther. If you don’t know who we are (AS IF!) haul ass to your URL bar and get into Clueless on Netflix. This is gonna be one of those instagram posts but whatever. We had so fun at the Soho Beach House party, it was totally ragin’.

I meannnnn, an actual Snow Leopard made the guest list.

Major props to whoever was in charge of decorating the party, setting up the theme and hiring the Lyra/aerial hoop folks out by the pool.Way cool.

There certainly wasn’t a babe shortage and these “gold medal” Baldwins asked for a photo op so we obliged of course and then asked for one from them too. 

We ended the night somewhere around 8 am…yeah…like I said before ragin. Anyway hope you’re having a wonderful Halloween as well, I’m totally outie.

Oh hey, I have braids now (part of my Halloween costume). I’m so excited about it. I recently went to style a low key shoot with photographer Diana Zalucky. She loveessss Polaroids. We ended up with stacks and stacks of them. I hate instagram recap posts, but I’m totally down for a Polaroid/film recap.

Lately I’ve been thinking about shooting with film just for fun, I don’t think I’m quite ready for the cost associated with Polaroids so I’m just gonna get a Fuji Instax. My only decision is whether to buy it myself or request it as a birthday present. It’ll be nice to have tangible photos sometimes. Anyway here’s a few of Diana’s favorite Polaroid shots from the shoot.
