Michael Kors Paris Limited Edition Watch Contest

How I'd Wear My Kors

I always say I’m not a big watch person, yet I own quite a few and found myself wanting a gold one today with my outfit. I don’t have a gold one. Wah. So that’s how I ended up on Polyvore making this set of recent purchases/wishlist/would die to haves. I’m obsessed with this outfit as a cute Florida “Fall” look. The pop art sweater and the hidden Hello Kitty on the skirt give it a really fun element.

Content and/or other value provided by our partner, Michael Kors.

Anyway I’ve been chosen as part of the top 100 influencers by Michael Kors and I’m giving you a chance to win the Paris Limited Edition Runway soon to be released on October 15th. (Retail $650) If you love your Michael Kors watch, Share how you wear it! Share your photo on Instagram with the tag #MKTimeless for a chance to win the Paris Limited Edition Runway watch.

Getting Set For Fall With Brahmin

Halston III Blouse (similar, similar) Filthy Magic Faux Leather Pleated Skirt Brahmin Vivian Locket Bag (my colorway isn’t out yet >_<) Joe’s Jeans Immense Bootie Forever 21 Collar necklace (similar, similar)

I’ve been holding onto this for so long now!!! Well, since June which seems like forever ago. Brahmin sent over a couple bags and asked me “how I would style my Brahmin?” I own 3 of their bags already so this was pretty easy. I love the shape of this bag and the colorblocking. The quality is superb and the gold hardware is a nice finishing touch. Brahmin’s new fall collection is really drool worthy. There are so many bags I want and they have such a large selection. It’s easy to go crazy. I’m so ready for summer to be over. *shoo* Anyway, check out the catalog, so many fab ladies in there some I know some I don’t so I can’t wait to check out the girls that are new to me.

My friend Mayleen, before I started shooting with her regularly really bailed me out shooting this for me. This red blouse is one of my favorites, picked it up over at fellow Miami fashion blogger Steffy’s vintage shop. I’m pretty sure I’ve worn it on the blog before…oh yes here we go. It has a really great color to it. The skirt is a closet staple for me. I wear it often, but only 3 times on my blog. The last of which was my last post, so sorry about the repetition…but you know not really. I kinda started wearing these booties a lot for awhile too after wearing them in Detroit.

P.S. – Lipstick is Maybelline SuperStay 14Hr Lipstick in Ravishing Rouge.

UPDATE: The second set of photos from the shoot can be found here.

Polished Femme with Michael Kors

By Ria  //  Accessories, Sponsored  //  12 Comments

If you consider yourself a stylish person you’ve probably come into contact with a Michael Kors watch in the past year or so. Back when I was shooting streetstyle for Miami Fashion Blog I saw them on several girls. They can be an excellent base for an “arm party”. His watches are a perfect balance between sophisticated and trendy. Watchesonnet.com provides a wonderful selection of his watches in an array of different styles.

My friend recently received this tortoise mk5038 piece and I oohed and ahhed over it’s versatility. It’s really simple design so it’s perfect for everyday wear. The beautiful tortoise coloring is something I never thought I’d be into but I definitely found myself envious of her gift.

My favorite watch is the goldtone mk5128, the first photo in this post. It’s been on my wishlist for awhile now and I’ve finally started experimenting with wearing watches so I think the time to take the plunge and buy one may be imminent. Especially seeing as this is a trend that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The gunmetal mk5388 piece also catches my eye, it’s luxurious diamante trim is perfect for a classier outfit. When I finally do pick up one of these bad boys, I’ll definitely start with something I can wear with everything and often. What’s your favorite Michael Kors piece?

Gold Saturn Turband Girl Props Sunglasses  F21 Necklace (similar) BDG Men’s Tee F21 Vest H&M Skirt (similar) Filthy Magic Bag

Went out to run errands earlier last week and threw together this outfit which I ended up liking quite a bit. I had my camera on hand so I thought I’d take pictures while waiting for Yogurtland to open. It didn’t really work out due though. That’s why I look so displeased in these photos. Literally took four photos before becoming frustrated and calling it a day. Still like the outfit though so I’m posting anyway haha.

All smiles when I’m behind the camera lens…of course (yes I wore this twice lol). I bought this Forever 21 necklace 2 months ago. I thought it was so beautiful and very reminiscent of a ring I have from Made Her Think or Noir. I didn’t think much about it though until writing this blog post and I decided to try and find a similar necklace to link to. I went to Noir, Fallon and then finally Made Her Think before realizing my $14.50 necklace is actually a knockoff of a $345 necklace from Made Her Think. I’m not in any position to be purchasing such a trendy piece for $345 so I’m glad I could catch such a great steal. What’s your stance on knockoffs?

Simple but Intricate

Aminimal strives to create really intricate products in a simple way. The way the jewelry is made is so interesting, I haven’t seen anything in printed nylon before, I wish I could reach through my computer screen and touch it. 10 pts for the Star Trek mention in the video. Not only is the material unique but the designs are unique as well. My favorites are the ribbon earrings ($25) and the ribbon necklace ($55). If you’re a design nerd you’re going to love this line.
