During Lucky Fabb I had the pleasure of munching on some delicious chocolates provided by Fannie May. They are ultra-premium, artisan jewel chocolates from chocolatier Norman Love. Luckily for me I didn’t have to fill up at Lucky Fabb, they gave us a box of our own to take home. I summoned all the will power I had to make sure I saved a few.
I’m so happy to be able to provide one of you the opprotunity to try these for yourself. There are twelve hand-crafted decadent flavors and they retail for $29.99. FM Artisan by Norman Love includes a wide variety of diverse flavors to compliment the many colors of each handcrafted chocolate. Flavors stretch from Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, Bourbon Vanilla, and Candy Apple to Peanut Butter Fudge and Birthday Cake. These vibrant taste spectrums of ultra-premium chocolates are also made without preservatives.
The chocolates launch on October 15th, and for those of you not lucky enough to win a box of your own. Use promo code 18457 to save 25% off (valid 10/15- 10/22). Check out the Fannie May Facebook page to learn more.
Everyone seemed to really like this outfit, even though it was a last minute casual…I don’t know what to wear and I’m through caring pick. What I originally wanted to wear didn’t work out and the hot weather just wasn’t working for me even though I should be used to it since I live in Florida. I’ve only seen my picture on blogs in this outfit haha. Guess my other outfits were unloved.
Pretty sure I stole this corset from my mom back in the day but I could be wrong. You can’t see because my backpack is in the way but it does actually have pretty blue ribbon to pull and make the top tighter/looser. If you love jewelry by the way you should sign up for Jewel Mint and use code summer774 to get 50% off your first order. It’s a jewelry service that gives you a personalized selection of pieces every month and you can choose to buy or skip the month (no charge) if nothing suits your tastes. I’ve got a decent JM collection going and I can’t wait to see what my October selection brings. The generous discount is brought you courtesy of the Miami MBA team.
Mittmi by Danittza Penelope Dress c/o Mittmi Filthy Magic Ribbon Pumps
Recently I was contacted by Mittmi, a clothing line by Danittza Zimic. The line is based out of Miami. Danittza’s vision in short is to empower women one dress at a time. Of course wanting to test this theory, I perused Mittmi’s selection of fabulous dresses and picked out the eye catching Penelope dress. As you can see it’s not exactly for the faint of heart in a striking purple giraffe print. I have such a love affair with purple so it seemed a natural choice for me.
Did I feel empowered wearing a Mittmi design? Bet your butt I did. The dress is super sexy. Before I headed up to the roof to shoot, I decided to snap a quick photo on instagram for a sneek peek and everyone loved the dress. I went to an event the following night and people were asking me about the dress. Even being bloated I felt phenomenal in this. I can’t wait to actually wear it out on the town.
The dress has ruched sleeves and a built in wrap belt. I’m kind of a stickler about unnecessary belts but this seems to work and doesn’t bother me. I suck at tying bows but I think I did a pretty good job with this one.
I brought out this old Forever 21 vest to show you guys a kind of edgier, more casual look that this dress can take on. You can really pair any kind of jacket combo over it or the dress as a skirt routine. Do this with a cute pair of flats or wedges and this dress works for the daytime.
Danittza has graciously offered to give my readers 20% off orders with the code: RIASBLOG. Can’t beat that! Not only can you find my dress, you can find amazing wrap dresses very reminiscent of Diane von Furstenberg in unique and versatile prints.
It’s like a girl’s night out on a grand scale! Come join me and other fashionable Miami gals for a night of shopping and fun. I’ll be there taking photos and of course shopping!

With the purchase of the Tote ticket for only $15 you get a bag full of goodies and complimentary cocktails (provided by Smirnoff Vodka) and spa services. Pretty cool right! You can purchase your ticket here.

Not to worry though if you’re ticket buyer 26+ because I’ve got you covered too. You can enter ‘MIAMI7‘ at checkout for 50% off a Sassy Tote Ticket or ‘GEN AD‘ for a free general admission ticket but you won’t be getting the nifty gift bag.
PiperLime.com, the bastard shoe-child of Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic which sends you annoying emails and pop-ups every time you buy something online from any of the stores sent me a lovely little discount flier in the mail today. The thing I’ve come to realize about all of the aforementioned stores is that when it comes to fall/winter wear, they tend to be really spot on (That being said, be sure to keep a look out for some great active wear from Gap and some amazing holiday dresses from Banana in the coming months)
So I decided to check out some of their stuff. I’m finding that ankle-length “booties” and oxfords seem to be the thing to watch out for in the coming months. Marc Jacobs has some fantastic ones on the site that you should check out. I ended up buying this pair of Kenneth Cole for only about $40 with my discount.
So definitely check it out. There’s free shipping on everything and you get 20% off if you enter this discount code: MNW66QNQJZQL
