It is so hard to pick favorites when you have such an excellent collection like FRONTROW to choose from. Above you’ll see my favorite pieces, there was no way I was keeping the image count below 4-6 like I usually aim for. I’m loving the sporty feel of these basics. I’ve been looking for the perfect leather sweatpant ever since Jayne Min put it on my radar and I think I finally found them. I know you’re thinking sweatpants, really Ria…but they’re luxe and it’s leather and I have to agree with Jayne when she said:
Imagine these pants as regular sweatpants. Leather really makes all the difference.
Talk to me about the perforated red leather both in pant and shirt form. I just wanna run my fingers over those babies. The crop top is combination of all my favorite things right now, white, a high neck and a bare midriff. I love the colored string detail on the pants, it’s a nice feminine touch. All the leather looks so buttery soft. This is sorta my ideal future wardrobe right here. High end basics that I can mix and match in unique ways and with very little effort. I could dress these pieces up, I could dress them down. I’d not only feel so confident and in charge but I’d also be comfortable too which you really can’t beat. So good on you Shateria Moragne-el, you know just what’s up. I love the blurb below from the BIO page of the website so much, if you know me in real life you know that’s how I roll.
Front Row couture represents unmatched style and freedom – inspiring its consumers to be seen on the scene and never settle for anything less than the Front Row.
I know most of you are not even thinking of Spring clothing but living in Florida sort of allows me to entertain thoughts of Spring clothes in November. I know most of California and Australia definitely feel me too. During NYFW I had the opportunity to visit the Ainsley/Qi showrooms. If you’re mindset is more Fall, cozy knits and pullovers Qi totally has you covered. Unfortunately I’m no good at photographing knits in any kind of appealing manner so do check out the website for their current collection and stay tuned for Spring. The print on that collared tunic (that I sorta want to wear as a dress) captivates me in a “I must possess this” kind of way.
Below you can peep the behind the scenes video of Qi Spring 2013.
I missed the BCBGMAXAZRIA show brunching with Levi’s and LuckyFabb, which is probably my fashion week regret as I missed several other gems as well. Enough of my whining though…I can really get into what’s going on at BCBG. The harness situation is of course a favorite. I wore a harness during fashion week and had the look planned pre-show. I love the all leather, no metal harness style overlaid on these gorgeous dresses. The lace is superb and placed in the most perfect places. Here are some of my favorite looks.

I definitely urge you to watch the video if you haven’t already seen it. I love the atmosphere and the music. Until Spring 2013 check out what’s available from BCBG now below. You’re welcome.
Ted Baker is one of those rare brands that offers designer style and immaculate tailoring at prices the average person can afford. There’s no doubt about it, there is something a little bit special about a fabulous Ted Baker dress.
Take the Hasse Chiffon Sequin Panel Dress seen above, the paneled sequin detail is so chic and so timeless. This dress will definitely last you more than a season. I love that it makes a statement with the sequins but they’re overlayed with the sheer chiffon for a bit of classy subtlety. I want to wear this to a dinner date, events, or just to get drinks with my girls.
Another gorgeous number available on Very is this dark orange shift dress with circle appliques. It’s all in the details baby. I want this dress for all the same reasons I want the sequin number. This one may be even more versatile with it’s no fuss, spring ready color.
From bodycons, to shift dresses, and even maxi dresses you can find a Ted Baker dress to fit your style. Prices range from around £100 ($158) up to about £270 ($428), but a dress from Ted Baker is worth every penny, trust.

The day before Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week started, Blanc de Chine invited me to their Fall/Winter 2012 show. Before hand Rob & I decided to get some Boba (bubble tea) in Chinatown at Ten Ren’s. Since living in New York, I don’t think I’ve ever gone back without a visit to Ten Ren’s. You could say I’m addicted. After that we headed over to the show. P.S. It snowed! I haven’t seen snow in 3 years. Big deal for me.
My shots from the show aren’t my best but I like these 5. Blanc de Chine aims to bring out the inner beauty and the quiet elegance of a woman and I really think they nailed it with their refined pieces. Everything was very classic but had unique design elements. I enjoyed the show a lot, even a bit of the menswear. Some of the models walked around the cocktail party in their looks so it was great to get an up close look at some of the pieces.
Unexpected bonus end to the night, my friend Nikole invited me to Carlo Pazolini’s flagship store opening. Lots of famous faces and DJ’s but I was really excited to see Solange in person, since I’ve never seen her before. The fold up flats in my gift bag ended up saving my life a few nights later by the way. Fashion week is killer on the feet.
